Creamy Tomatillo Dressing

INGREDIENTS
1 (0.4 oz) pkg Ranch Buttermilk Dressing
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 c mayo
2-3 fresh tomatillos, husked and cut into quarters*
½ bunch fresh cilantro
1 clove garlic
1 jalapeno (remove seeds if you don’t like it spicy)
Juice of 1 lime

DIRECTIONS
Place buttermilk, mayo, and ranch mix in a blender. Add the garlic, cilantro, jalapeno, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Make it several hours ahead of time to allow it to thicken. Will keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

*If you want to roast your tomatillos (optional), cut them up and roast them for 15-20 minutes in a 400-degree oven. Watch them, and remove them when they are just slightly browned. You can also substitute the tomatillos with ¼ cup green salsa, but you need to find a green salsa with tomatillos as the first ingredient.
